ALL CHANGE AT ASHFIELD MEDICAL CENTRE
Dear Practice Patients – I would like to begin by thanking you all for your cooperation during the past few months as Ashfield Medical Centre has been going through some major staff changes.
Dr Mukherjee retired from the Surgery at the end of August after being Lead GP here for over 16 years. We would all like to wish Dr Mukherjee a long and happy retirement.
Dr Duda left the Practice to move to another surgery in Nottingham at the end of July, however due to circumstances he has decided to return to Ashfield Medical Centre and we are extremely happy to have Dr Duda back working with us as full time salaried GP from 1st November 2016.
Since July 2016 we have been supported by excellent GP’s that some of you may have met, Dr Mandal, Dr Dodd, Dr Aye, Dr Gundkalli, Dr Felthouse. Thank you for the positive feedback you have given to us about the GP’s who have supported us throughout to continue to give you the best healthcare they can provide.
We are extremely pleased to tell you that Dr Aye will continue to work with us for two full days per week to provide us with continuity of care for all.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) role is to make sure general practices and other health care services in England provide people with safe, effective and high-quality care, and to encourage improvement. It carries out this role through a range of checks and inspections
We are very pleased to report that we met all the standards following our routine CQC inspection in January 2014
