CHANGES AT ASHFIELD MEDICAL CENTRE

Dear Practice Patients

We would like to begin by thanking you all for your cooperation during the past few months as Ashfield Medical Centre has been going through some major staff changes.

Dr Mukherjee retired from the Surgery at the end of August after being Lead GP here for over 16 years. We would all like to wish Dr Mukherjee a long and happy retirement.

Dr Duda and Dr Aye continue to support our patients with Dr Duda being your named GP. Thank you for the positive feedback you have given to us about Dr Duda and Dr Aye who have supported us throughout to continue to give you the best healthcare they can provide.

As Ashfield Medical Centre moves forward over the coming months we are working very hard to ensure that we continue to improve our services and commitment to our patients by working together with our neighboring Practice Dr Jeremy Jenkins & Partners for Clinical and Management Support. This will mean that we are able to offer more Clinical resources and services to our team here to support your needs.

Over the coming months the Practice website will have all the up to date information about the changes and improvements we are making.

We would like to thank you all for your loyalty and support and assure you that we are committed to making these improvements so that we can continue to provide the best clinical services to our patients.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) role is to make sure general practices and other health care services in England provide people with safe, effective and high-quality care, and to encourage improvement. It carries out this role through a range of checks and inspections

We are very pleased to report that we met all the standards following our routine CQC inspection in January 2014
